“I had a fantastic stay at this hotel over the past 3 days. The room was very stylishly decorated and incredibly clean. The bed and bedding were exceptionally good. A lovely hotel and a great location; many sights and neighborhoods are within walking distance, and otherwise it was easy to take the metro. And finally, super sweet staff!! Very friendly and welcoming. Thank you very much for the excellent care! As already mentioned, I will definitely be coming back here.”

“This is a great hotel if you want a good location for nightlife (the Bastille area) but also a quiet hotel to retreat to for a good nights sleep. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. And it’s quiet at night. Its shortfall is the breakfast set up. They need a new coffee machine, and more than one too. They also need more plates, bowls and glasses, as both mornings they ran out and people didn’t have what they needed. But if you get to breakfast early, before 8am, it will be fine. The shower was also a bit rubbish. But other than that, this is a lovely hotel and the staff are great. And it’s still good value for money. So, nearly 5 stars across the board.”

“I stayed with my wife in this hotel during Christmas vacation. The location is very convenient and in a nice area , close to the Gare de Lyon as well as as many good restaurants and bakeries. There’s also a local market nearby with a great coffee shop and fresh produce . The area feels non touristy which is something I like. The service is very good; friendly and attentive staff. The room was cozy and clean;and it had all the basic necessities. I found the bed mattress too soft to my liking, but this subjective taste I guess. Special thanks to the Asian lady who offered my Japanese wife some miso soup from her own stash”

“Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, the room was cute but the ceiling was slanted like a loft roof so you had to bend to move around the room. So please be aware if your room is on the top floor. The room itself though was lovely with cute contemporary decor. The hotel is quiet and the bed/pillows are lovely giving a peaceful sleep. Clean and tidy hotel throughout. Free fruit, snacks and hot drinks available daily. Would recommend this hotel for a short break, located on a quiet side road closed to restaurants, metro and local amenities. What makes this hotel special is the staff, it was service with a smile everyday, very friendly and accommodating so a big shout out to the reception staff.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed one night as a family of four, in two rooms, at Maison Traversière, and had a great experience. The hotel is very well located, just a short walk from Gare de Lyon, which is extremely convenient when traveling with family. Despite the central location, the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, and well arranged, perfect for a short family stay. The beds were comfortable and everything met our expectations. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the breakfast was enjoyable, a nice way to start the day. Overall, a very good choice in Paris, especially for families looking for comfort, calm, and a convenient location. Highly recommended.”
